He loves painting since his childhood. He repeatedly tried to figure out Liu JiYou’s lions and leopard paintings, Cao Kejia’s palm civet paintings, HuShuangAn and Niu DeGuang’s tiger paintings, and constantly did self-denial. After his unremitting exploration for more than 20 years, he finally developed his own unique painting styles.

His artworks “Running in the wind”, “The howling spreads thousands of miles” and “Eight Howling Tigers” were on the top of the 1st calligraphy and painting exhibition in Shangdong held by China Artists Association. For the lifelike tigers in his paintings, everybody praised that “Wu Song killed the tiger, but now the tiger was live in Wang Xiaoliu’s painting”. From then on Wang Xiaoliu was honoured as the king of tiger in China.

Now he's painting super-large 100 meters "100 Tigers" scroll, 100 different tigers, flapping and jumping, or roaring in the wind, or playing, or sleeping sweetly... All of them was lifelike and seems to leap out of the picture. It sounds that we can hear the tiger’s roar. It's so amazing!
