Wang Meng's Biography & Awards:

Wang Meng, 王蒙，1949年生，著名国画家，湖北工业造型美术学院教授，中国美术家协会会员，江西余市人。

曾先后从师刘海粟、吴作人、李苦禅等大师。才华横溢、画路宽广。花鸟山水、人物、走兽均精，尤擅长老虎、雄鹰、小鸡，构图别致、新颖，笔墨洒脱、情趣盎然、独具一格。其国画作品流传甚广，英国伦敦博物馆及欧美等国，也有不少名人收藏其书画。

他的中国画《雄风》被中国文学艺术界联合会以及中国国际文学艺术作品博览评审委员会评为美术类“特别等级”作品。《中国当代国画家名人辞典》、《二十世纪男际现代美术精品荟萃》、《世界当代书画家名人作品集》辞书均载入其书画作品和传略，并荣获书画类《世界艺术家名人证书》。
