Tang Xiao Shan's Biography & Awards:

Tang Xiao Shan, 唐小山，出生于艺术世家。其祖父唐玉润先生是中原画坛泰斗之一，河南省中国书画协会主席，人民艺术家；父亲唐海先生是真正的荣宝斋画廊书画家，画坛少数几个荣登《东方之子》的艺术家。

小山六岁初习画，家学渊源，更在其长辈开明的教导下遍习历代名作，兼学经史子集，诗词歌翰，渐形成其清新洒脱，又浑厚大气的艺术风格。善画牡丹，竹子，紫藤等花鸟画。

现为中国国际书画艺术研究会研究员，河南中国书画家协会理事。

唐小山曾作为特邀艺术家参加韩国《世界平和书画展》，台湾地区《中华书画展》并获奖，深受好评。其作品及对其的评论文章在《河南日报》《郑州日报》《大河报》等多家报刊多次刊载。

在北京荣宝斋开过唐小山个人画展并取得圆满成功，荣宝斋的经理也非常赏识唐小山的作品，专门收藏了小山几幅作品，并在荣宝斋展卖。


Tang Xiao Shan was born in an artistic family. His grandfather, Mr. Tang Yurun, was one of the leading artists of the Central Plains, chairman of the Henan Province Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Association, and a people's artist; his father, Mr. Tang Hai, was a genuine calligrapher and painter of Rongbaozhai Gallery, and one of the few artists in the art world to be listed in the "Sons of the East".

At the age of six, Tang began to learn to draw and paint, and under the enlightened instruction of his elders, he studied the classics, history, poetry, songs and hans, and gradually developed a fresh, free and majestic artistic style. He is good at painting peonies, bamboo, wisteria and other flowers and birds.

Tang Xiao Shan is now a researcher of China International Painting and Calligraphy Art Research Association and a director of Henan Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Association.

Tang Xiao Shan has participated in the "World Peace Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition" in Korea and the "Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition" in Taiwan as an invited artist and won awards, which was well received. His works and commentaries on them have been published in Henan Daily, Zhengzhou Daily, Dahe Newspaper and many other newspapers and magazines.

Tang Xiao Shan opened personal exhibition in Beijing Rongbaozhai and achieved success. Rongbaozhai's manager is also very appreciative of Tang Xiaoshan's works, special collection of several works of Xiaoshan, and in Rongbaozhai exhibition and sale.
