Qin Shi Xiu Chinese Figures Painting Artists

Qin Shi Xiu's Biography & Awards:

Qin Shi Xiu, alias Qin Kun, first-grade painter. She was born in Guilin in December, 1958, and very fond of drawing from the cradle. She gives priority to paint figure, animal, flower&bird and various pavilions. After years of exploration and innovation to combine the different techniques of ancient and modern celebrities, now she create her own characteristics of Chinese painting.

Her works won gold, the first prize and the honorable mention for more than 10 times in various painting and calligraphy competition across the country. Furthermore, she published a number of “high-quality goods collection” and “classical works collection”.In 2006, she was awarded the "Contemporary Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Celebrity" honorary title. Her works were well received in the domestic and foreign markets, and collected by many collectors at home and abroad.

Currently she’s the member of China Fine Arts Society; the director of Chinese Painter-Calligrapher Association; and art committee member of Chinese Talents Society of China Ministry Personnel; the vice-chairman of Chinese headquarters of World Painting and Calligraphy Association Canada General Committee; the senior academician of Shenzhou Art Academy; the executive director of Guilin Ya Yuan Painting and Calligraphy Academy; member of Guilin Workers and Staff Art Association.


秦石秀，女，一级画师。艺名：秦堃，广西桂林人，1958年12月生，自幼酷爱作画，主要以画人物、动物、花鸟、亭台楼阁为主。经过多年的探索和创新，融合古今名人的技法，创作出了具有自己特色的国画风格。

作品在全国各地书画大赛中，曾荣获一等奖、优秀奖、金奖等十余次，并出版多部精品集及作品大典。2006年被授予“中国当代书画艺术名人”荣誉称号，作品在国内外市场上得到好评，被海内外很多收藏家所收藏。

现任中国美术学会会员、中国书画家协会理事、中国人事部人才研究会艺术委员、世界书画协会加拿大总会中国总部副主席、神州艺术院高级院士、广西桂林雅园书画院常务理事，桂林市职工美术协会会员。
