Feng Da Zhong Chinese Tiger Painting Artists

Feng Da Zhong's Biography & Awards:

Feng Da Zhong, was born in 1949. His ancestral home was Gai county in Liaoning province. He is a member of China Artists Association and Chinese Contemporary Gongbi Painting Institute. He also is the vice president of Benxi Artists Association and the vice professor of Liaoning Painting Institute.

He loves painting very much since his childhood. When he was in junior high school, he learned painting tigers from the art teacher Li Xiaoru. After his hard study for many years, he became a famous painter for painting tigers.

In 1984, he painted “Revival” with Song Yugui and won the silver prize in the 6th China Art Exhibition. Besides, some of his artworks won the important prizes in the international and national exhibitions.
He held his own painting exhibitions in Japan for many times. There were 18 pieces of his artworks that were collected by China Art Museum.
Rong Bao Zhai had published “Song Yugui-Feng Dazhong Paintings”, and “Feng Dazhong Sketch Collection” was published in Japan, while “Feng Dazhong Paintings Collection” was published in Hongkong.

生于1949年，祖籍辽宁省盖县。中国美术家协会会员、中国当代工笔画会理事、本溪市美术家协会副主席、辽宁画院副教授。

自幼喜绘画，初中时拜美术教师李笑如学习画虎，经多年刻苦研习，终成画虎名家。

1984年与宋雨桂合作《苏醒》，获第六届全国美展银奖。另有多幅作品在国际国内参展并荣获重要奖项。
多次在日本举办个人画展。有十八件作品被中国美术馆收藏。
著作有荣宝斋出版《宋雨桂冯大中作品》，日本出版《冯大中写真集》，香港出版《冯大中画集》等。
