Chao Yi's Biography & Awards:

Chao Yi, 晁一，1956年出生，中国书画家协会理事，省书法家协会会员，中国书法艺术研究院特聘书法家。

自幼酷爱书画，青少年时期临习颜柳，后改攻行草，书作气韵贯通，跌宕多姿，极富表现力。多年以来临池不辍，书法功底浓厚,诸体皆善，尤长行楷，。书法注重笔力，凝重稳雅，豪放雄健。

2004年老师的“三国演义开篇词”参加《天苑杯》全国书画大赛荣获金奖。被授予“中国书法百杰”称号。

Chao Yi, was born in 1956. A director of the Chinese Calligraphers and Calligraphers Association, member of the Provincial Calligraphers Association, and specially invited calligrapher of the China Academy of Calligraphy Arts.

He love painting and calligraphy since childhood, studied Yan and Liu when he was a teenager, and then changed to learn Running Script & Cursive Script. His writing is full of charm, colorful and expressive. He never stopped for years, has strong calligraphy skills, good at all kind of scripts, especially for Running Scripts and Regular Scripts. He focuses on brushwork, dignity and elegance, bold and powerful

In 2004, his "Introduction to Romance of the Three Kingdoms" won the gold award in the "Tian Yuan Cup" national calligraphy and painting competition. Be honored with the title of "Chinese Calligraphy Baijie".
