Zhou Gui Fa Chinese Landscapes Painting Artists

Zhou Gui Fa's Biography & Awards:

Zhou Gui Fa, came from Zhejiang. He loves the beautiful scenery of his hometown very much since his childhood, and by the influence of his family(both his grandfather and father are local painters), he has been learning painting since he was young.

His painting was selected into national children’s calligraphy and painting exhibition. Later he moved to Guilin of Guangxi province and studied at the Chinese Painting class of Guilin Children’s Palace. During that time, his artwork was selected into “Guilin-Kumamoto Brother-cities Children’s Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and got a good reputation.

After he grew up he had further education in the Chinese Painting department of Guangxi Art Institute. His artworks often combined with the beautiful sceneries of his hometown and the second hometown Guilin. He paid attention to express his feelings and had very high skills on the ink brushing.

He took part in the national and international exhibitions for many times and often published artworks on some artistic magazines like "Art World" and "Decoration".
Now he is a member of Guangxi Artists Association, Chinese Painting Appreciators Association of Guilin-Kumamoto Brother-cities, Guilin Artists Association and Guilin Landscape Painting Research Institute.

原籍浙江，自幼钟情于家乡的清雅秀丽景色，加之受家庭薰陶(祖、父两代均为当地习画之人)，启蒙时即学习绘画。

曾以画作参加全国少儿书画展，后随父工作调动迁入广西桂林，入桂林市少年宫国画班学习。期间画作参加日本熊本市举办的“桂林熊本兄弟城市少年书画展”并获好评。

长大后于广西艺术学院国画专业深造。其作品常将故乡清雅之景与第二故乡桂林的山清水秀有机的结合起来，直抒胸臆。作品重写意，墨韵十足，灵动之处却又惜墨如金，关键之处往往画龙点睛，一笔而成。

多次参加国内外画展，作品常发表于《美术天地》、《装饰》等相关专业刊物。现为广西美协会员、桂林熊本(日中)兄弟城市中国画赏玩会名誉会员、桂林市美协会员、桂林市山水研究会理事。
