He Yi Xing's Biography & Awards:

He Yi Xing, was born in 1962 in Jinbao of Yangshuo city. Now he is a professional painter and a member of Chinese Painting Research Institute, Guilin Artists Association and Figure Painting Researchers Association.

He had further education in Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts in 1990 and studied in Chang’an painting style. He had strong sketch skills and especially majored in figure painting. He was good at painting lotus&fish and Birds&flowers in Xieyi style.

It’s easy for him to painting figures in Xieyi style. No only composition and shape, but the techniques of using ink brush, colores and line drawing, he shows his good talent. During his creation, he used ink brush smoothly and freely, and the figures in his painting were vivid and had fine details. Every details show the painter’s peaceful mind and skillful techniques. His artworks were very decorative and had high appreciation value, collection value and large space to appreciate. His artworks were well-loved and collected by many museums, galleries, calligraphy and painting collectors.

In 2001, he won the third prize in “New Century-the 1st Guilin Land Tax Calligraphy and Painting Competition”.
In 2001, he won the excellent prize in the 1st Guilin Folk Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Exhibition.
His artworks “Zhong Kui” and “Da Mo” have awarded the big prize in the national calligraphy and painting competitions.

男，1962年生，桂林阳朔金宝人，职业画家，中国画研究院院士，桂林市美协会员，人物画研究协会会员。

90年在西安美院进修，学习长安派画风，素描功夫扎实，专攻人物，擅长荷花鱼，写意花鸟。

画家画写意人物无疑是得心应手,无论构图、造型以至用墨、设色、线描等,其功底显而易见。创作时运笔圆润流畅，笔随意走，画中的人物神情逼真，刻画入微。作品一笔一点,莫不体现了画家平和的心绪和娴熟的笔力；作品装饰性极强，有极高的欣赏价值、收藏价值和增值潜力。作品受到海內外有识之士及艺术馆，画廊所收藏、深受书画爱好者欢迎。

2001年获“新世纪桂林市首届地税书画大赛”三等奖。
2001年获“桂林首届农村书画摄影作品展”优秀奖 。
作品《钟馗神威》，《达摩译经图》曾获国家级书画大赛大奖。
