Gu You's Biography & Awards:
Gu You, came from Guangdong Province. He is a poet, painter and calligrapher. He also the initiator of Zen Orchid Painting, master of Chun-fang Orchid Court.
He had been a painter for over 40 years and had skillful technique. He love orchid so much and he know the species and growth habits of orchid very much since he had been planting orchid for over 20 years. Because of careful observation and study of orchids, so the orchids under his brush are vivid and full of spiritualism.
古友，广东人，诗人、书画家。中国书协、美协会员。禅意兰花画派创始人，春芳兰苑主人。
四十年书画艺术及国学修养，传统书画功力深厚。尤其酷爱兰花，自有兰花基地，种兰画兰二十多年，由于对兰花的细致观察研究，对兰花品种、习性都有深入的了解和体会，故笔下兰花无论春兰、蕙兰、建兰、寒兰、墨兰。还是奇花异叶都能生动传神并赋予人的灵性和品格情操，近五年以诗文书法入国画，化字为境物，同时删繁为简，简至只有一叶一花的至简境界，并以哲理诗文提升画境，从而使兰花画作充满禅机意趣，开创别具一格的禅意兰花画派并形成后现代的禅意画风。
