Gu Chun Chinese Figures Painting Artists

Gu Chun's Biography & Awards:

Gu Chun, native of Guilin that was born in 1971. Learning figure painting as well as bird-and-flower painting from famous artist Liu Bing when he was a child. With that foundation, Gu could continue his learning in Guangxi Normal University. Now he is a professional painter, and part of Guilin Artists Association. Some of his artworks had been embodied in the book ‘The colloection of Awarded Works of Contemporary Artists of China’.


古春，1971年生，广西桂林人，广西师范大学艺术系毕业，自幼随广西著名花鸟画家刘兵学习花鸟、人物国画。作品着色沉稳，含蓄内敛，落墨大胆自如，笔势及枯淡干湿变化丰富而精彩。格调秀丽典雅，自然浑朴古拙，意境深邃，极富趣味。有作品被收入《中国当代艺术家获奖作品集》。现为市级美协会员，职业画家。
