Feng Yuan's Biography & Awards:

Feng Yuan, 冯源，原名冯国平，生于1956年10月1日，河南西平县人，笔名冯源，号左右，冯宝斋斋主。1974年入伍。1982年毕业于中国人民解放军总后勤学院。现任中国书画家理事，中国榜书协会会员，中国甲骨文协会会员，中国毛体书法家协会会员，广东省书协会员，中国书协会员，华夏榜书艺术研究院院长等职。
　　冯源先生师法晋唐，上追秦汉，打下了扎实基础。之后拜书法名家张瑞玲，刘增基为师。广采博取，汲取众长，逐步形成自己的风格，被誉为“中原铁笔”。他擅长榜书，亦攻篆隶。其作品笔力雄健，厚朴凝重，豪放多姿，结构端庄自然。遒劲有力，别出新意。具有舒展豪放的艺术形式和强烈的时代感。宋楚瑜、成龙等称赞说：“冯源书龙，中华一绝”。2006年他被国家发改委命名为“文化功勋人物”，连续两年受邀到北京人民大会堂参加春晚书艺活动，2007年和侯振华先生在新加坡成功举办书展。
