2. Mounted on Silk Brocade

Mounting on Silk Brocade is the basic for framing with wood. When framing a Chinese painting with wood, you usually need to firstly mount it on a silk brocade.

After mounting on a hanging scroll, the total size of the painting will be much larger. Normally the sizes after mounting on hanging scroll are:

Horizontal Painting Top/ Bottom: Add 5cm (2inches) on each side;
Left/Right: Add 25cm (10inches) on each side;
Vertical Painting Top: Add 30cm (12inches);
Bottom: Add 25cm (10inches);
Left/Right: 5cm (2inches) on each side;
Painting of being Equal in Length and Width Top: Add 45cm (18inches);
Bottom: Add 40cm (16inches);
Left/Right: 5cm (2inches) on each side;

4. Framed with Wood  

Framing with Wood is the best way to preserve paintings, which protects paintings well from dust and dampness. The whole product includes the wood, the clear acrylic glass and the painting mounted on silk brocade.
